After the fire, we thought all the furniture which had been in my husband's family for generations would be lost but thanks to JC Wood it was all beautifully restored. I want to express my gratitude on my furniture. I know it is not common for people to be emotionally attached to furniture, but I am. I have designed these pieces myself and found someone to hand make them (this was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to do this). Therefore, they are one of a kind and really precious to me. When they were damaged during our move, I was really sad as I thought I will never be able to fix the pieces and bring then to their original state.

To be honest, in the process of completely remodeling our house, I really got tired and weary of dealing with contractors, but JC Wood totally turned that feeling around. I had my bedroom set since 1957 and it needed to be refinished and redone completely. I didn't want a new set because I love the style of mine.
Because of all the changed I made, I just couldn't imagine how it would look. I was hoping that after the changes I wouldn't be disappointed. Well, words can't describe how I felt when I looked at the new refinished work of beauty. It was far beyond my expectations. The workmanship of all the fine details was remarkable. I looked over and over and didn't find one imperfection.

Dear JC Wood,
You recently refinished some furniture pieces for my parents. They live in an assisted living facility that suffered flooding due to a water main break. The pieces all had varying amounts of damage. Most of the pieces were old and several were valuable antiques.
Whether the entire piece was refinished or just a surface was done, the pieces were beautifully restored! One piece needed leather inserts replaced and that turned out better looking than the original.
We are so please with the result and would definitely use your company for any future needs.

Alex came this morning and restored our antique mantelpiece that was badly damaged from water damage.
To tell you that we are very pleased with the result is an understatement. What can I say? It looks GORGEOUS!!! I can't stop going into the kitchen just to stare at it. Thank you a million times!
Also, what a pleasure to have a man like Alex in our home. He is a sweet man as well as a true professional. He is such a perfect representative of your fine company. In addition, Alex's helper was a very nice, gracious young man.

By the way, after Alex was through with the mantel, I reminded him of the slight damage to one of our cabinets over the sink, and he already had that on his work sheet to do next. Incidentally, Linda, if it hadn't been for your close scrutiny of our entire kitchen, I doubt that my husband or I would have caught that discoloration in the wood due to the water damage. You certainly have an eagle eye.

Howard Brundage has provided JC Wood with insurance for over 5 years. When it came time to have some of his personal chairs reupholstered, there was no question who to call.
“They run a very professional operation, because as their insurance providers, we would not accept them as a risk if they didn't,” explains Brundage. “I know their technicians are highly trained.”
Brundage had two chairs that he wanted to reupholster. He also needed the chairs to be fitted with new wheels to protect his wood floors. JC Wood picked up the chairs the same day he called.
In order to choose an upholstery fabric, Brundage and his wife visited JC Wood and looked through their inventory. After choosing a few they liked, the manufacturers sent samples to their home. They called JC Wood with their final choice, and soon the chairs were ready.
“The reason we chose JC Wood was their quality workmanship and excellent customer service,” says Brundage. “They're my own personal chairs, I wanted them reupholstered correctly. Front Door Refinishing:
After years of wear and exposure to the elements, Eugene DiMonte wanted to refinish the front entrance to his home, including two doors and five wood panels. “The doors were structurally fine,” explains DiMonte. “They were very expensive, so we chose to refinish instead of replacing them.” When he saw an email from JC Wood advertising front door refinishing, he decided it was finally time to complete the work.
The team from JC Wood arrived and they closed off the area with plastic to keep the rest of the house clean. “They even put plastic on the ceiling and floors which I thought was really admirable,” says DiMonte.
The technicians sanded away the existing finish, then stained and protected the wood. “My dad was a painting contractor 50 or 60 years ago, and I worked with him a lot of the time. I know about removing garnish and paint, refinishing and all that. These guys did such a great job. I was really pleased,” adds DiMonte. “The doors are beautiful, better than new.”

During the refinishing process, one of the locks was damaged. “The company told me they would pay to have a locksmith come and complete the repairs,” recalls DiMonte. “Nobody is perfect, and when they made a mistake, they stood behind it.
